This is a Silent Movie Theater Glass Slide from 1919 used to preview of a film starring Elsie Ferguson in "The Avalanche." This is in very good condition with some deterioration in the center of the image that causes some lightening of the tones on viewing. According to the American Film Institute this is a "lost film" meaning that no copies are known to exist. PLEASE NOTE that this is a Five Day auction. If you like these...hallmark my page...I'll be putting about 75 more on in the next couple of weeks. Guaranteed to be old, of the period...as it were.
