You are bidding on the actual item in the photographs. This is the MFSL ULTRADISC version of Elton John / Goodbye Yellow Brick Road in gold disc and in MINT condition! The Ultradisc was pressed in Japan and many collectors (including me) feel the the sound quality is superior to the American pressings. You are bidding on my finest opened pressing of this CD. This is a 24 karat gold audiophile CD still in near perfect condition. I grade all my CDs on a scale of 1/10 or use a grade of "mint" or "near mint" etc for grading these beautiful works of art. The case and CD are rated 9.5/10. This is the one of the finest opened copies of Elton John / GBYR that I have ever owned ! I use a 40 watt mercury/halogen lamp to expose all of the imperfections on the playing surface of the CD. There is only a minimal amount of specks on the playing surface. You would not be able to see these slight imperfections using a regular 100 watt light bulb. I have played the CD a handful of times. The case and inserts are also rated a 9.5/10 or mint. The CD has been sitting in a locked vault in a smoke free, pet free home ever since my purchase of this item. I grade conservatively and I want my description to meet or exceed your expectations.
