These were used on the Movie theater marquee were held in metal brackets - t is NO tape and the corners are as sharp as the day printed We are listing a hugh collection of Elvis Movie items.To see this collection go to our Ebay Store and enter =Elvis= in the search field. T are also many movie publicity photo posters from each of his movies.All came from same movie theater in the mountains.Theater only had 35 seats.During the 1950's and 1960's the major movie studios abandoned the small theaters as the expense to provide posters/window cards was not worth the cost.The studios instead contracted Capitol Film and Radio of Richmond Virginia to provide the support material such as movie posters window cards and publicity posters Size: approx 12 x 18 inches- they were printed by halftone process and all are B/W. Not as fancy as the major studios but we are selling at a fraction of the cost. While I hate the word rare as it is overused but lets just say these are seldom seen as most were destroyed after use.On the back of each poster is stamped with the name of the printing company.This theater owner actually collected these items and store in large wallpaper sample books.They were suppose to be returned after use but for waht ever reason these were not.Theater closed in 1973 so all are before that date.Poster on heavy weight cardstock read more
