Elvis Presley - South African RCA 78 picture sleeve. Elvis was hugely popular in South Africa and his records sold extremely well, so much so that the local RCA licensor company was moved to produce a special 78 rpm sleeve with Elvis' picture on it. (The identical picture and design appears on both sides front and back.) Elvis was the only recording artist in South Africa to be so honoured and as far as we're aware, this was the only instance of Elvis' picture appearing on a 78 sleeve anyw in the world. This particular copy is very clean. T is a circular crease on both sides caused by the edge of the disc that was once inside the sleeve and also a small 5mm tear on one side but otherwise it is wholly intact. Airmail shipping to any international destination should be no more than $10.00. Registration (optional but recommended) is an additional $2.50.
