One of the rarest 45 rpm Elvis promos was distributed by the late RCA Executive Producer Joan Deary during Elvis week, Aug. 1982, in Tupelo, MS, ONLY! RCA release JH-13302. (see label photo) Joan was Executive in charge of the Elvis catalog of recordings for RCA records. Joan joined RCA in 1954 and it was her job to handle all of the Elvis material. She produced many Elvis albums for RCA, including the Elvis Aron Presley 25th Anniversary Album Set. Joan worked out of the RCA building in Hollywood until her retirement in 1987. If you visited the birthplace for a dollar, Joan would pass out this gem after your tour of the small shot-gun house.
