This is an old fur coat, but it isn't about the fur (although that would be fine for making bears or other items)--the lining is spectacular! It is rust-color satin with lovely embroidery flowers and would be so attractive if used for something else. How about a purse, a pillow, a lingerie bag, a hat, or a Santa robe? I'm not even sure what type of fur it is, but I suppose you could reverse the garment and make a satin vest lined with fur, too. The coat has a really nice (and huge) antique button as well.
