Another Vintage Radio Offering From OldRadio Cr az y Emerson Model BD-197"Mae West" This is a very special Buy It Now auction for an all original 1938 Emerson "Mae West". If you are a high-end radio collector or focus on Emerson Ingraham cabinets, this radio is a must have in your collection. The dimensions of this radio are 15x9.25x8.5" and weighs in at around 12 lbs. The overall condition of this "Mae West" is excellent. The finish on the cabinet is original, and the condition is superior considering its almost 70 years old. T is minimal signs of age or use. T are a few minor scratches, but they are surface only. The wood knobs are also original and in excellent condition. The all important speaker and dial conicals are original and in very super condition. The ridged back is also present and intact. I was told by the prior owner that the chassis had been restored and working, but I am selling the radio as untested/not working. This radio will not last long, so Buy It Now... This radio will be very carefully double boxed using plenty of new styrofoam insulation. USA and Canadian Buyers Only Update: I have powered up this "Mae West" and it works perfectly. It received a number of stations clearly w/ no distortion or hummung...The dial light and the band lights work and they are bright!!
