EMI DLS 529 "RARE" SPEAKERS MADE IN ENGLAND "NICE CONDITION". One owner. Close Serial #'s 61 L818 /61 L833. Brought over form England in the late 60's. These have been well cared for always stored in climate controlled environment. They have been fully tested all components work and undamaged sound great. Some minor scratches on cabinets in areas but no damage to any corners, cracks or damage to grills.(see detailed pics for actual condition).Description of Speakers from Original Manual:This bookshelf unit has been designed for use with professional or domestic reproducers and may be used for stereophonic or normal (monophonic) reproduction. The cabinet shape is so designed that it may be placed in either a horizontal or vertical position. The serial number plate, located on the rear of the cabinet, is position at the end which the high frequency loudspeaker is mounted so as to identify the relative position of this component when acoustically balancing a pair of units. Each unit contains a hand-made 13 1/2 x 8 1/8 inch specially designed elliptical driver having an aluminum center cone and plastic suspension and is identical to the combines with a pair of 3 1/2 inch high-frequency loudspeakers to produce a substantially flat response over the normal audio range.
