Emmert Patternmakers Vise, K series, in very good condition. Found in storage, not taken off of a bench, (close by to the new Emmert recently sold) this vise has seen little use. I was told it had been taken from service a long time ago. In evaluating an Emmert, I look for bent jaws as a sign that the vise has been abused. The jaws on this vise are perfectly parallel-After zeroing the jaws to each other using the angle lever, I clamped some thin cardboard in the upper corner, (see picture). I can't remove it, even pulling very hard on it. Impressive. No breaks, welds, repairs, and the complete angle mechanism is all t Front wood handle is a replacement, but thats to be expected. Paint is in great shape also. Winning bidder can pick through the several other nicer Emmert replacement handles I have, the one that came with it is pretty crude. Everything turns very smoothly, w/out the binding and catching that worn out ones sometimes have. This one doesnt need anything, even paint, it's ready to work right out of the crate. I will securely crate for free. Shipping is about a buck a pound, so figure $100 or so. Negative feedback left to nonpaying bidders. I expect payment within 5 business days, and prefer paypal as a first choice. I have another vise I will be listing thats almost as nice as well.
