Set of four enameled kitchen canisters from the very early 1900s,solid white base with cobalt blue hand-painted bands and trims enhanced by fancy bluish gray lettering. This quartet features CAFÉ (coffee), THÉ (pasta), EPICES (spices) and POIVRE (pepper) in descending size order. These canisters range from 6” to 4¾” tall. Each underside is trademark stamped “Marque déposée – O.F.A.” Despite some minor wear apportioned to its advanced age, this attractive ensemble is in very good condition , not often the case with these earlier sets. The canisters’ interiors are very clean as well. All in all, this set is a wonderful souvenir from French kitchens of old, and would be a delightful addition to any vintage inspired décor! !
