This is a nice and RARE engine valve block which is maker marked the part still has 2 moveable valve tappers on it the block is 4 inchs long this block sat on top top of the engine valves and powered the engine this is in very nice condition still complete it is in nice solid condition it has been cleaned but would clean up more with some effort and is a nice peace of battle of Normandy history it is perfect for display or any collection.The part came from us p47 thunderbolt being flown by captain thomas montag shot down during the battle of Normandy .This part came from a large private collection in London and is a cracking relic from the Normandy battlefield.If you have any questions please ask.I POST ALL MY ITEMS WORLDWIDE. US P-47 Thunderbolt work number 42-26393 the plane was being flown by captain Thomas Montag the plane was lost while he was attacking a convoy full of armoured vehicles after makeing a few passes he flew to low and crashed in to some in a Forset which is 5 miles east of Domfront which was in the area of the Falaise pocket in Normandy in the summer of 1944.
