NICE NEW ENGLAND FOLK ART O/C 19TH C PAINTING OF ASTERS IN ITS ORIGINAL FRAMEDescription:A GREAT LATE 19TH CENTURY NAIVE FOLK ART OIL ON CANVAS PAINTING OF A GROUP OF ASTERS. Massachusetts, Circa 1885-1890 in its original stretchers and original plaster painted frame.THIS IS AN WELL EXECUTED 19TH CENTURY FOLK ART PAINTING. IT HAS THE BEST DETAILS AND GREAT BOLD COLORS.The entire piece is still bright and in very nice condition.Oil on Canvas, it retains its original pine stretchers and the gilt painted plaster over wood frame is original.It is not signed and the condition is very fine. There is no in-painting visible.This great painting just recently came out of an old Cape Cod Collection.Frame is 25" by 13" and sight is 22" by 10"Typical wear and imperfections with age. No rips or tears.
