This auction is for a English Art Glass Salt Cellar in Cranberry. It has Clear Rigaree around the outside middle and the foot is a One Piece Clear Rigaree, very unusual. These are circa 1880-1890. T is a similiar type salt shown in H&J 5,000 Open Salts number 291 and The Open Salt Compendium on plate number 170. With the exception of mold roughness around the inside top edge, t are NO chips, cracks or flakes. It has a Smooth Pontil, and is a Table Size Salt which most of this type are. It measures 2 1/8 inches in diameter and 2 1/4 inches in height. Free Shipping is for USA Addresses Only.
