ENGLISH STERLING SILVER WITH ENAMEL TRAVEL WATCH CLOCK Description This listing is for an English fine sterling and enamel travel clock with Swiss movement. The clock is encased in sterling silver and is surrounded by blue enamel. The case was made in England and the clock was made in Switzerland. The case measures 3 1/8 inches or 8 cm square. The watch or clock measures about 1 3/4 inches or 4 cm in diameter. It has a white porcelain face and Roman numerals. The watch is both stem set and stem wind. The enamel over the sterling that surrounds the clock is a sky blue. The sterling is marked with hallmarks on all sections. The main hallmarks are "SC" for the makers mark. The next mark is the rampant lion mark for Sterling quality. The next mark is the city stamp for the English city of Chester, The last mark an "O" in script which is the Chester date letter for 1914. Both the case and the watch are in excellent condition. The movement is marked "Octava Watch Co Switzerland 15 Fifteen Jewels 2 Two Adjustments U.S.A.P. 815321". There is no damage to the blue enamel or the porcelain face of the watch. The watch runs well and keeps good time. A handsome antique. There is no reserve.
