This is a large and important, George II English sterling silver salver. From the renowned London salver specialist William Peaston. Date marked 1750. T is no record of appenticeship or freedom. He was first listed in 1746. Second mark with Robert, his son or younger brother in 1756. Produced mostly high quality salvers. An example displayed at the renowned Clark Institute.
