This is a set of 4 Enoch Woods & Sons Castles, Harlech series in blue 6" bread plates. These dishes were produced in Straffordshire, England from the 1840's through the 1920's after the death of Enoch Woods the company changed to simply Woods and Sons. The castles series has been very popular with collectors as they offer scenic views of different historical castles. Most of these pieces were produced between the 1840's and 1913. All four plates are in beautiful shape, no chips or cracks. There is some tape residue on one plate (I have included a picture) I have not attempted to remove it for fear of causing damage to the transfer-ware. I also have available in separate auctions Enoch Woods and Sons Harlech castle saucers, Ross castle tea cups and Stokesay castle dinner plates. Shipping through USPS.
