SCARCE ITEM!!This is Vermont Geological Survey Bulletin 23, The Geology of the Enosburg Area, Vermont. Published in 1964, this 56-page book comes complete with all three of the original maps, one of which is a full color geologic map of the area. The Large map has a couple nice color cross sections at the bottom. The area is in northwestern Vermont to the Canadian border toward New York. These state reports are often harder to find than USGS bulletins This is only first one of these I have ever had in years of dealing in these sorts of items. The report is detailed and gives complete information on all the formations in the area. The formations range in age from Cambrian to Ordovician and form a large anticlinal structure throughout the area. There are several diagrams within the text as well as photos of features significant to the geology. Iron and copper have been mined in the area. The is a great old report on this area, and to find it complete with all the maps is really nice. Usually one or another has gone missing. This should be of interest to local residents, hikers, visitors, mineral collectors, or armchair geologists in the area. Text is printed on high quality glossy paper.Expert packing assured. Shipping weight is 9 ounces. Media Mail is provided to save you a bit.Visit my store, Rockwiler Books and Minerals.I will continue read more
