ENSONIQ ASR-10 ......16MB maxed out RAM,OS DISK If your looking at this you should probably know what they are the very best sounding sampling workstation even today this is the real deal ,its all about the sound ,if you want to beat the competition concider this great unit because youll probably need it. Up for grabs is a nice Ensoniq ASR 10 sampler / workstation. I bought this thinking I would use it more.... It's in great shape for its age. A few scratches around the Back of unit touched up with a marker i never really noticed (especially in the pics). Everything works great. I only have 4 disks that has one sound hahahaha maybe that's why I never used it much. The drive works fine and loads smooth,also had a pro tech look at it all checked out great screen is real nice ,no dead pixals and the sound and all the buttons and keys work as they should. It has spent its life in a smoke free room . you will get the synth and the power cord. You can download the manual from an online source. Shipping will be $60 to the US ONLY!!! It includes a powerful and flexible effects unit, polyphonic aftertouch, an advanced MIDI sequencer, load-while-playing abilities, and a powerful multi-layered synthesis engine. The ASR -10 offers a powerful and flexible internal effects unit (even as a standalone device just like the Ensoniq DP/4 ), offering the capability to resample an existing sound with an effect, and to process external signals through it live. Up to 62 effects are available to be used, including more esoteric effects such as a vocoder and distortion. The ASR -10 sequencer has an internal 96 parts per quarter 16 track sequencer. Songs are constructed in either a step time (note by note basis), or through live recording of the MIDI information played in. The ASR -10 comes with 16MiB of internal memory. The machine featured Sigma-Delta 64 times oversampling, and sampled at either 30 kHz or 44.1 kHz rates at 16 bit. The machine does, however, have the ability to record direct to hard disk with only disk space limiting the file size. This ASR -10 is available with a SCSI interface as an upgrade for connecting to an external hard drive, and further upgrades were available with AES/EBU connectivity. The unit is standard with a 3.5 inch floppy drive internally. The ASR-10's sequencer has 16-tracks and with its 31 voices of polyphony you can create some pretty complete musical performances. The sequencer (reminiscent of the SD-1 and VFX-SD workstations) provides real time and looped recording modes, 96 PPQ clock resolution, an auto-locate function, punch in/out, and other useful features. And the ASR-10 can sample while the sequencer is playing.
