This is a cherry coloured, mahogany Gibson Epiphone SG. It has a rosewood fingerboard, 2 humbucker pickup's (which give it a nice thick, warm tone), a glued in neck, and grovers tuners, which allow for an extremely accurate tuning of the guitar. I have had the guitar for 6 years and it has been used a lot. I have done a few gigs with it, but soon stopped as I bought a different model. This means that although the guitar is in great condition, it does have a few scuffs on its body. Only 1 of them is remotely visible at a glace, but it isn't a bad one. The scratchplate shows use, but is black so again, the marks don't stand out. This is a great guitar for a first time player or for somebody just starting to gig. I'd recommend it to rhythm and lead guitarists alike as it has great sustain and a thick, heavy tone. !
