Here for sale is my Epiphone Sheraton II. I bought it in NY a while back. The advantage of buying them in America is that Epiphone set up the guitars on arrival, and they set them up properly. On my return to the UK, I had the guitar Fret dressed at Martin Phelps at a cost of £85 (I think its more now, that was a few years back). If you are not familiar with fret dressing, its a must for all 'new' guitars. The Luther (is that the right word? Someone correct me...I mean a guitar maker) uses a laser to look down the neck and then files all the frets to make them smooth, and taps them into the neck to make sure they are exactly the same height. They also shaped the nut, adjusted the pick up heights, etc etc etc and did all sorts of other things to make the guitar feel perfect. You can find their link here - http://www./howtobuy I highly recommend Martin Phelps. They have a real pro guitar builder there...far better than those impersonal large retailers. They did a great job, the action is perfect. There is no buzzing anywhere in the fretboard. When you tune the guitar perfectly, you can go anywhere you want on the fretboard and play any scale and you are in tune...(my pet hate is guitars that cant actually be tuned...ie. the neck is slightly off, so if you are in tune in one area, you are very slightly out of tune at the top of the read more
