I have a portable, self-contained, EPROM programming system that is only slightly used. I mostly used it for repair of pinball and video game boards. It works on EPROMs from the 70s to current hardware. If an adaptor is required, the manual contains a schematic for those who wish to build their own or you can purchase adapters from the manufacturer. You get the programming unit with cable and power adaptor, a copy of the latest software with most current device library & the programming manual with operating instructions and wiring diagrams for many different adapters. It also contains the schematic of the programming unit. The software CD contains its own operating system, which you can boot directly from, or you can install it on your computer and run it from t The programming unit connects to your computer through a parallel printer port. I've work with programmers that range in the tens of thousands of dollars and I've never worked with one that is as simple and easy to use as this one. Don't let is small size and low cost fool you.
