Original 1927 first edition 1st printing of a superbly illustrated book of fishing lore by famed woodcut artist Eric Fitch Daglish, the ISAAK WALTON/CHARLES COTTON classic : THE COMPLEAT ANGLER , gorgeous full-page b&w tipped-in engravings by Daglish featuring the fish (and birds) described in Walton's beloved text; published by Dutton of NYC, hard to find -- first US edition, minor foxing and light wear to boards, sticker ghost, lacking dustjacket but boards are clean and bright, no marks or writing internally, as pictured and described. One of the most sought-after Daglish titles, and one of his earliest, large heavy quarto. Media rate shipping is $6.00 within the USA, international bidders are welcome (but shipping will cost $59.95, this is a big heavy book). This particular title is extremely hard to find and therefore highly sought after -- a must for any serious fan of Eric Fitch Daglish, one of the supreme nature artists of his generation.
