It was very refined, so refined you can actually feel the smoothness with your hands. Offered for sale is the highly collectible ERIE SHALLOW LONG PAN "ERIE" 752 8 Erie Cast Iron Shallow Long Pan made in Erie, PA. A fine example of the Erie/Griswold Quality. Specifics: 21.5" handle to handle; 9.5" exterior width; 1-1.25" depth; 17" interior length; 7" for the interior width. Despite the fact this pan is over 100 years old, it truly appears to have had little use. To me, the condition is excellent. I received much help from Doris Mosier from the Griswold & Cookware Society (she is a tremendous help and is just as sweet as can be, not to mention extremely knowledgeable on ALL cast iron products!
