Shaving Mug For your bidding pleasure is a nicely handpainted porcelain shaving mug for a railroad worker, depicting a caboose. This is an unusual one: I have seen a few railroad mugs with locomotives on them (I have one on a different listing), but I have never seen a caboose. Former owner's name is W.C. Ronk. Beautiful handpainting of caboose with exceptional detail. Bottom unmarked except for some impressed numbers and "2137" but is most likely a Limoges blank. Item is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, with no chips or cracks. Moderate wear to gilding on rims; gilding on lettering is good. Item measures approx 3-1/2 inches (8.9 cm) high. Postage (U.S.) is $6.
