Ernie Kovacs' Screen-Worn Suit. A creature of habit -- Nairobi Trio is a fine example of his penchant for repetition -- Ernie donned this tasteful suit on many occasions. It was custom made by L.R. Ermilio & Co, with a tailor's label reading "Ernie Kovacs 10/7/52". The two-button suit, in a brown and rust wool glen plaid, has two pairs of cuffed pants; the original has a 44" waist and 32" inseam, and the second pair (added to the suit April 21, 1953) has a 38" waist and 33" inseam. As the waist measurements illustrate, Kovacs' weight fluctuated drastically -- nothing in moderation for Ernie. In Fine condition with mild damage to lining of sleeves. From the Ernie Kovacs/Edie Adams Estate Archive. Grade: 0, Service No.: 0
