Hi Welcome! For auction is this beautiful, rare Musical Angel Figurine from Germany. It is an unique art work, hand crafted from wood and hand painted. It features a singing angel, which is enormous in size. Next to it, in the picture to the left, you can see the normal sized angel from this series with the green 11 dotted wings. This beautiful item was made in the Erzgebirge region in the former East Germany by the famous company "Wendt & Kuhn". This piece is in great condition and just shows little wear from age. The music sheet is bend on the bottom and an upper corner broke off. Also the angel's left pig tail shoes little paint loss. Please see last 4pictures! Marked with an Erzgebirge label: Erzgebirgische Volkskunst, Gahlenz, Sachsen" It is huge: measures 9 1/2" tall and about 5 1/2" on the widest point, the diameter of the base is 4". The little angel is not part of this auction. Do not let this rare item go, Christmas is coming sooner than you think and this will be gone by then! Comes from a clean and smoke free home.
