Victorian/Edwardian Velvet and Cut Steel choker necklaceat the time, was referred to as a "Dog Collar"circa mid 1800s to 1900.Does show a tiny spot of tarnish/rust. I have not attempted to restore or alter this beautiful necklace.Velvet is 1/2 inch wide12 inches with a slide clasp.An amazing and rare piece of jewelry history.
