This is fresh from an Estate Auction.The guy collected Railroad stuff so this Broad Axe may be from the railroad but it does not have a railroad name on it. The following is stamped into the head of the broad Axe: H.Mann Eutre Co.PA Cast Steel Warranted .I could not make out the rest of the letters but what I have underlined is what I could make out.It is old & has some pitted marks on it as you can see in the picture.It is beveled on one side. It is 28 1/2" in overall length.The blade is 10 1/4" wide.From tip of the bevel to the bottom of the bevel is 12 3/4". The back end is 3 3/4" long x 1 3/8" thick. For its age it is in pretty good shape.Please use your judgement when bidding by viewing the pictures. Please email me with any questions. Shipping weight will be 12 lbs.
