ESTATE LOT 1922 Real Photo Postcards CALIFORNIA HOT SPRINGS Tulare MINERAL WATER Item Description MMMMMMMMMMMM ESTATE COLLECTION OF 1922 REAL PHOTO POSTCARDS CALIFORNIA HOT SPRINGS, TULARE COUNTY YEAR: 1922 ITEM DESCRIPTION : Six vintage circulated real photo postcards, all written by the same visitor to the hot springs, dated September 1922. Condition is good+, stamped and sent, with the most minor corner bumps. Images include hot springs landscapes, mineral springs swimming pool, horseback riding, cottages, etc. TULARE COUNTY CALIFORNIA HOT SPRINGS: Some time in the late 1870s T. J. and N. B. Witt filed claim to the upper Deer Creek drainages, which included the several hotsprings now known as California Hot Springs. There are references about the hot mineral springs on upper Deer Creek in several promotional articles on Tulare County's mineral wealth, saying these could be of great value for health purposes. This is a spectacular collection.
