UNSEARCHED SHOTGUN ROLL with 1909 vdb Wheat Cent (possible S mint???) & Indian Head On Reverse (Stock Photo Used) This auction is for one roll of Indian Head and wheat pennies that I recently purchased at an estate sale. I was told by the person who sold them to me that the gentlemen these came from, prior to his passing, had a huge collection of old coins and antiques and had collected them for some 30+ years. I have several boxes of these coins/rolls that I purchased and want someone who enjoys coin collecting as much as the gentlemen who used to have these. Out of curiosity I did open a few rolls to see what was inside before listing them on Ebay just for fun. Listed below is what I found out of 4 randomly pulled rolls for this collection: · 1 st Roll – 5 Indian Heads Cents; 13 from the 1900-1920’s; 10 from the 30’s; 9 from the 40’s with 3 steel cents and the remaining ones were from the 50’s. · 2 nd Roll – 8 Indian Heads; 21 from the 1900-1920’s(2-1909’s); 6 from the 30’s; 11 from the 40’s with 4 steel cents with the remaining ones from the 50’s. · 3 rd Roll – 11 Indian Heads; 10 from the 1900-1920’s; 12 from the 30’s; 3 from the 40’s; and the remaining ones from the 50’s. · 4 th Roll – 14 Indian Heads; 6 from the 1900-1920’s; 1-1942 Barber Dime; 9 from the 30’s; 8 from the 40’s and the remaining ones from the 50’s. read more
