Great estate pipe carved by American carver Walt Cannoy. Walt Cannoy is known for his artistic hand carved pipes. This is a perfect example of Walt's talent. Pipe is carved in a wedge shape that showcases the grain on this pipe. The grain just flows up from the point at the bottom of the pipe to the top of the pipe on every surface. An uninterrupted flow of grain. Then the top is finished in a rough plateau. Pipe is extremely light in weight. Pipe has been smoked several times but is in like brand new condition. The orange translucent acrylic stem is of a narrow nature at first but flares out to a more normal size at the end. Very gracefully done. Great hand feel as the flutes on the side of the pipe don't detract from the roundness of the bowl. Very different but artistic pipe. Pipe comes with a custom black cloth pipe sock. Nomenclature reads "W Cannoy, 021701". All measurements are approximate. Shape makes it difficult for exterior measurements. Inside of pipe bowl is 15/16" wide and 1 5/8" deep.
