This is a purplish blue marble color R. Esterbrook fountain pen & pencil set. These were made prior to the more common Esterbrooks with the jeweled ends. The fountain pen is in near mint condition, with no scratches, dings, chew marks, cracks, etc. The barrel imprint is very strong. It appears to have hardly if ever been used. Measures 4 7/8" capped. It also has an unusual nib, as you can see in the second picture. Needs a sac. The pencil seems to have been much more used. The barrel imprint is weak, but it is also in excellent condition & works perfectly. Missing the eraser. Sold as found. Winning bidder pays $6.50 shipping & handling USA only.
