Detailed, vintage study of Manchuria, well illustrated, which discusses the area in detail in the years right before the Japanese invasions of World War II. Etherton was Consul-General in Chinese Turkestan and Assist. Judge of His Majesty's Supreme Court of China giving him a fascinating viewpoint on things at this time. 16 excellent, interesting photographs and fold out map bound in.Very Good Plus condition with mostly surface wear to binding, light soiling, bit of wear to heel of spine; no dj.
