Please welcome baby Marisol. She is of ethnic decent. She weights approx. 7 lbs. and she is 20 inches long. I am artist for 10 years working with oil colours on canvas since the age of 10. Marisol is my first bebe' that I have shown in this type of forum. I have studied for sometime the different tones and wanted to make her as real with the ethnic colours. I hope that you would enjoy her photos as much as I have enjoyed putting this peice together. Marisol has fine detail veining painted into the many layers of GHSP. the paint is cured with each layer so as not to fade or chip. This kit has been transformed into a collector baby suitable for the adult collector. She is weighted with polyfiber, poly fat pellets and glass granules. No sand was used in the making of this baby so she may travel without restrictions. Marisol has a lovely angora mohair that has been rooted with a very fine needle. The hair is micro rooted for realism so that t are only one or two hairs coming from the head. This process of microrooting is very long process but the results are of the highest quality. The hair is then bonded from the inside with a waterproof glue. This allows for the hair to be styled without over shedding. Marisol also has painted hair underneath her mohair.
