A Vintage French Softcover Book (measures 6 3/4" x 10 1/2" [17 x 27 cm]; 400 pages)Etrennes 1939, the 1939 French catalog created by the Bibliographie de la France which features information about booksNote that, as mentioned above, this is a catalog listing books published in France in 1939. It has a lot of really interesting ads and illustrations inside, but what is most fascinating is a 20-page bound-in section entitled "Etrennes Hachette 1939", which has both full-color and one-color pages on quality paper stock, and the cover has a great image of Snow White with forest animals, and inside are many images of other Walt Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse, Pluto, and more, and there are also images of Felix the Cat, Tarzan, and more (most of which are in color; see our images). Also note that we have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the publishing information, and one or more interior 2-page spreads. (French)Condition: good to very good -- There is small paper loss in the top of the cover, with the remnants of a sticker and a 1 1/2" tear at the bottom of the cover. Otherwise, the book is in pretty nice condition (see our images).
