This is an original unique vase made by Ettore Sottsass for Bitossi distributed by Raymor. T he vase has Raymor paper label made with a "B" , also within the glaze a number ending with a "B" both for Bitossi. Sottsass made pottery for this company. This is a unique hand-throwned vase in very good condition. There are occassional glaze pots as well as a small chip along the mouth. The handle has a hairline crack at its' base. All reflect its' age and use. This is a very stunning vase with an eye catching geometric design probably dating to the 1950's This vase measures 10-3/4" in height by 7" in width including the handle with a base at 5-1/4" in diameter; the mouth 3-1/4" in diameter.
