EVANS COMPACT. The black enamel lid is encircled with a floral design in the silvertone rim. The design is visible when the compact is open as well. As can be seen in the photos, the white mesh shows on the sides and well as the total bottom of the compact. The mesh bottom has a circumference of 2 inches. The top lid measures 7.75 inches. Inside, a 1.4 inch metal mirror cover the rouge pot. The original rouge still has the EVANS logo imprinted on it. The rouge is covered with the original "MayFair" insert advertising refills from the Evans Case Co. The EVANS WOMAN LOGO is prominent on the 1.6 inch diameter powder puff. The original powder screen and powder remain in the compact. The EVANS hallmark is visible on the inside rim of the compact just above the latch. Latch is secure. Excellent condition.
