Offered for bid is a dark burgandy color & gold cap Eversharp fountain pen. It may look black in the photos, but in a bright light you can see the dark red color. The pen was probably great in its day but now needs restoration or could be used for parts. The lever bar that you pull to press on the bladder is stuck and I am afraid to force it because I would probably break it off. There is a ring around the cap near the top that says Eversharp SKYLINE PAT Made in USA. There is a part around the biggest part of the barrel that is dull and then as it tapers down toward the point it is shiney again. The gold cap has tiny ridges and then at the bottom it says 1/10 14K YGF. The nib says Eversharp 14K Made in USA. The nib looks like it would work if the pen did. The pen screws in nicely into the cap and stops. The pen is 5 1/4 inches long from the point to the end of the cap. I am not a pen expert or collector but will try to answer any questions. The pen is not all chewed up. There are a few minor dings on the gold cap.The winning bidder will pay $3.00 for 1st class shipping in the US. Outside the US will pay $4.00 for 1st class international shipping. Payment by PayPal is expected within 4 days of the close of the auction.
