EXTREMELY RARE YAYOI KUSAMA "coffee table book", NOT to be confused with a Louis magazine printed with the same cover, this is the hardback book. This official Louis Vuitton Yayoi Kusama 2012 RARE Limited Edition book recently won a Yellow Pencil in the category of Brand Expression in Print. This rare limited edition from Dover Street Market Ginza formed part of a wider collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and features images and works drawn from the last 50 years of Kusama's career. "An artist book to celebrate the Louis Vuitton-Yayoi Kusama 2012 collaboration, and inspired by Kusama's symbolic polka dots that represent the 'self-obliteration' of one's ego." Features paintings, sculptures, live human exhibitions, photographs, some very unusual and creative works! Excellent condition, the dust cover has a very light scuff mark, the book is MINT CONDITION complete with original sales receipt from my local Louis Vuitton store.
