This old Stanley machinists' vise is in really excellent condition. It looks barely used. T are no mechanical problems. It opens and closes smoothly. T are no cracks or chips anyw The jaws on the vise are crisp. The jaws are 2 1/4" wide. It opens up 2 1/4". It looks like one of the screws was replaced on the bottom. The screw fits and the vise will function properly. This is an exceptional high quality vise. If you're not happy with it I'll refund your money less shipping costs.
