Hey Everyone! I have got today just one of the many visor caps that I will be selling over the next few months. Please continue to watch my other auctions for more outstanding items to come! Up today is a magnificent WWII US Army Adjutant General Corps Senior Officer Dress Blues visor cap. I don't think I have to tell you how uncommon these caps are! The wool top is in perfect condition. I like the piping that goes around the cap, with the colors of the Adjutant General Corps. The bullion is a little tarnished, but it still is beautiful. The felt visor with bullion oakleaves is still solid and beautiful. The bullion on the visor is a little tarnished, but I'm sure that could be cleaned. On the front of the cap is a magnificent jumbo screwback eagle. The eagle is marked NS Meyer New York on the reverse. Unfortunately, the cap does not have a makers mark inside, but it is obviously of high quality. This cap has an exceptional interior. It has a supple leather sweatband and the small inner liner diamond has carmelized the way most do. The cap is marked as a size 7 1/8. What a wonderful addition this cap would make to any collection or reenactor's wardobe! If you are looking for a beautiful WWII US Army Officer's dress blues cap, then this is the one for you! I am sure t weren't many Field Grade Officers with dress blues uniforms read more
