Very appealing, Art Deco era powder jar in the shape of a chubby pierrot or clown with white ruffled collar, large black buttons, painted face and black skull cap. It measures 4 5/8" high and 4 5/8" in diameter. The painted body surfaces are done in blue and gold luster paint and all painted areas are perfect, but for a tiny area above the bottom button w a little piece of paint is missing, and also slightly around the rim of the jar. No cracks, chips, or worn paint spots to any other area. Stamped on the bottom in red, "Noritake M. Handpainted, Made in Japan ." Sold with no reserve. Check out my other items !
