Enamel snuff, pill, trinket box by Bilston and Battersea Enamels, Halcyon Days London, Made in England. Wimbledon Tennis theme. Side says, Wimbledon, The First Lawn Tennis Championship, 1877 and has 9 men and women in Victorian dress each demonstrating a different tennis stroke. Top shows match with audience, line judge, scoreboard and trees. Inside bottom has gentleman in black and white executing a backstroke. Inside lid says "Spencer C. Gore beat W. C. Marshall in the first Men's Singles, 6-1,6-2,6-4 in black and white. No chips or cracks. Please ask any questions BEFORE bidding. Good luck. I will combine shipping with my other items.
