This is a great fossil tooth found in the 90 million year old Hell Creek badlands of Montana! It is a larger upper early mammal molar with root structure, from a multituberculate mammal that was coexisting with the giant dinosaurs right before the K-T extinction event. This superb specimen tooth is virtually perfect! It was found in uppermost Cretaceous deposits (Maastrichtian), in the Hell Creek Formation in southeastern Montana. Thanks for looking!
