This is a fantastic, practical and stylish original late 1930's Anglepoise lamp. Made by Herbert Terry & Sons of Redditch, England. This iconic lamp was designed by the renowned British designer George Carwardine. This lamp has the two-step base and rimmed shade as all of the early models should. It has original style flex wire and rubber grommets. I believe the bulb holder is brass. The lamp is made of aluminum and steel. It has been lovingly polished and rewired to high standards. There are a couple of light surface scratches on the lamp and marks on the base. This is a good thing - the lamp is 100% original, it's not supposed to be perfect! Includes low-wattage energy saving light bulb. Any questions please feel free to ask.
