Presented for sale an Excellent ROTARY MAXIMUS (Revue) 15J SOLID 9kt Gold Gents Art Deco watch from 1931 General Description This is an Excellent ROTARY MAXIMUS (Revue) 15J SOLID Gold Gents Art Deco watch from 1931 with period black leather strap. Case Movement Dial Strap The solid 9kt Gold baguette shaped case measures 40mm by 22mm (excluding winding button) and has the hallmark for Glasgow imported silver and date letter for 1930 and a presentation inscription and is in EXCELLENT condition. The hinged cover is a good secure fit. The case has fixed lugs. The high quality, ROTARY MAXIMUS (REVUE cal 54), 15 jewel lever movement has the ROTARY MAXIMUS, Cal 54, SWISS MADE and 15 JEWELS emblems and is in EXCELLENT condition and keeping time within 2 minutes a day or better. The watch has been recently serviced (on 19th December 2013).The white/silver Art Deco dial has the ROTARY, MAXIMUS and SWISS MADE emblems and is in GOOD aged condition. The hands are gold coloured and the hour markers are gold coloured Arabic numerals.The watch is fitted with a period, black leather strap with goldcoloured buckle clasp.
