A superb and hard to find 'Rose Spray' (sometimes named 'Bridal Rose') patterned Dainty shaped fine bone china double egg cup by Shelley, England, dating from the beginning of the 1950's. The egg cup stands three and a half inches in height with a top rim diameter of two and seven eighth inches and a basal rim diameter of two inches, the backstamp being that of the scripted within shield 'Shelley, England, Fine Bone China' one as applied to the factory's wares during the period 1938-1966 along with the pattern name 'Rose Spray' and number 13545. It's condition is excellent, ringing clearly and thus confirming the presence of no hidden hairlines; certainly no chips or cracks, nor any scratching, fading, crazing, rubbing, discolouration, etc., and no restoration. There is no reserve and our start price is a reasonable one.
