I wish I could tell you it was 18th century; however, this is a high quality, handmade copy. The blacksmith was a craftsman and the quality is exceptional with a surface that looks 18th century. Every part of this Candle Chandelier is hand wrought. The center ball measures 7” tall by 8” in diameter and each triple candle socket arm measures 14” long by 18 ½” wide. The overall measurement of this large Chandelier is 25” tall including the S-hook at the top by 32” in diameter between the outside drip pans under the candle sockets. … If you search the net you will find examples of this wrought iron fixture being sold for authentic. I haven’t been able to pin down exactly when they were made, however I suspect they are from the 1960s, give or take.
