Represented is an early Swiss carving of a swallows nest. Two adult swallows are in front of the nest bringing food to their lone young offspring in the nest. is a fantastic example of early Swiss carving. These swallows nests occupied many of the early homes of the Black Forest Region and were said to "bring good luck." This example is numbered on the back of the nest 2222. What a delightful wall hanging depicting the beautifully carved nest and brightly painted swallows. Why don't you let this bring you No reserve and a low starting price.
