Up for auction is this wonderful Art Deco style Westinghouse 2-speed oscillating room fan. This classic model AD12-1 was made in the USA probably in the 1940âe(tm)s. It specs out at 120 volts, 60 cycles and 7 amps. The beautiful blue transparent plastic blade is free of cracks and nicks. The fan is in very good overall and working condition with a good two prong plug. The cord is pliable and free of cracks or breaks. The fan like most room fans has the ability to oscillate which is made possible by tightening the thumb screw below the motor. The fan body does have a few small paint nicks mostly on the back of the motor. The fan cage is bright and beautiful with only minor corrosion mostly on the back. The running motor has a wonderful vintage hum and has a slight rattle, only on the high speed . This fan is a real work of art representing a bygone era.
